I was playing with the pattern of tumbling blocks which reminds me of cake squares. I got carried away into the vision of cake and sweets raining from the sky. In the corner of this work is a photo transfer of myself as a child, with flower petals falling on the image. Materials and techniques: commercial cottons, sun dyed photos transfers, pieced and
appliquéd by machine. Hangs from a rod through a sleeve sewn on the back.
